  What information do we collect from the users?

When registering on our site, as appropriate, we use federated identity based log in mechanism. Federated identity is related to single sign-on (SSO), in which user's single authentication ticket, or token, is trusted across multiple IT systems or even organizations and it would not be possible without some sort of federation. We only collect user name, picture, email from organizations (Google, Facebook) providing the identity - thus we only collect publicly available data.

On the other hand, We collect your valuable inputs while you create a poll, vote for a poll, comment on our site and write a mail to us. We strictly use Paypal for purchasing / subscribing services on our site. But we never ask for any financial details (credit card, debit card etc.) from you. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. ⦿  Honor unsubscribe/resubscribe requests quickly. Maximum 15 days to serve.

  Poll Policy

⦿  There is no restriction for any type of content for a poll with 'PRIVATE' category. Private polls are not subjected for any content violation or scrutiny.

⦿  'PUBLIC' polls must be written in only 'ENGLISH' language.

⦿  'PUBLIC' polls must not contain any material which can be categorised as any of these -

•  Obscene or Sexual
•  Distressing or threatening
•  Offensive or Hateful to a group
•  Offensive or Hateful to public figures
•  Offensive or Hateful to a belief
•  Severely disgusting and distasteful
•  False and Misleading information
•  Against government policy
•  Malicious or harmful script

⦿  We check new 'PUBLIC' polls randomly on daily basis. If found anything like above we will remove the poll and mark the user for policy violation or permanently block the account.

⦿  Do not link copyright protected images on polls. We do not take any responsibility if an user commits such copyright violation. We can only remove the link if the image owner complains with proof of ownership.

⦿  Our polls do not provide 100% accurate data. So using any information for academic or scientific use is totally discouraged. Use our statistics with your own responsibility. Neither NetPoll and it's services nor the creator of the poll can be held accountable.

⦿  NetPoll uses cookie based voting system. We take no responsibility if someone uses any client-side script or third party software to manipulate the results.
